This website provides a platform for you to learn more about our campaign and the issues we care about. We believe in transparency and accountability, and we are proud to share our story with you. We invite you to join our community and be a part of the change you want to see.

My name is O’Dell Carr, and I have been a resident of the city of El Dorado since 1981. I've spent 30 years working in the fields of public education and services to persons with developmental disabilities while yet serving in a pastoral role for the past 29 years and recent author. I don’t come to you as a politician but as a private citizen who answered the call on November 14th to become part of the process of achieving the goals for the total community.

This year in November, 100 people will be elected to the Arkansas House of Representatives. Sitting in these 100 seats will be people who will discuss and decide three important factors that bring me to this endeavor. One being how your children and grandchildren will be educated, what attention and allocated resources will be made available to persons with mental illness issues, and lastly, to what extent economic empowerment will be made available to all persons.

I am married to my wife Brenda Carr of 43 years  and also a father to four children and a grandfather of 6. I was born and raised in Forest City, Arkansas where the meaning of community was developed and designed. I'm honored to run on your behalf because, "together is the only way."
